Responsibilities:
Responsible for all functions associated with the design, implementation and maintenance of SQL Server databases including security, back-up, logging, reporting and recovery procedures i.e. database tuning.
Manage all technical aspects of the databases and processes.
Provide SQL DBA services across three (3) data centers (Monrovia, Manila and Malaysia)
Development of solutions using an XML front-end (web development)
Provides assistance during the development and enhancement of production applications that involves
Microsoft SQL Server databases including working with applications, technical support and operations during the design, development and implementation of applications.
Work with other data center DBAs to build the logical database area and provide technical guidance during all phases of the development process.
Requirements:Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred.
At least 2 years as DBA with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices on a Microsoft Technology environment.
At least 2 years Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience (preferably last 2 years with Microsoft SQL Server 2005)in terms of Database Administration, Database Design, Database Tuning, Database Management and Database Security.
Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques.
Experience creating and maintaining an extraction, transformation, and loading process from source systems or files into a data warehouse.
Project management & knowledge of industry accepted documentation standards.
Strength in analytical problem solving and organizational skills.
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) is an advantage.
Competencies necessary for the position:
Proficient in the use of Windows productivity applications such as Microsoft Office.
Excellent English communication, both oral and written.

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
